Playing for 2 days.

Hi all....

i've beeb playing for 2 days now.. and haven't seen a single soul besides my friend.

makes me wonder if there are players or that im in a old world ?
the only thing i see are small towns of people who dont play anymore.. and thats all.

can someone please explain ?

it's a big world out there, there's only one server so you're not in an "old world" or anything, you're just in a very sparse area i guess :/

This is like playing Diablo in hardcore mode. You don't want to run into other players because they're probably just going to PK you.

With that said, hazzor is right. It's a "big" world. (relative term... I started in a world about 3.5-4x bigger than this one.) There are some friendly players out there willing to give you help and advice. Feel free to post questions in How Do I? and maybe join the IRC channel. (Details are in the "Public Resources" thread stickied in this forum.)

That's good for you guys, but please take my advice: BUILD A PALISADE ASAP. Actually, probably one of the first things you'll want to do. Then do everything you can to build a brickwall as fast as possible. Listen, just do it.

now that youve built a palisade.

work on your brickwall because you can tear a palisade with your hands

get that first brick wall and you'll be pretty safe

After spending some time with some Palibashers, I jump directly from claimed-and-hearthfire'd-polefence to brick walls now.
