New player!

Hello all! Im new player here!
I just started game and i love it already... except that im kinda lonely and i dont know much about game.
Im eating apples to survive and crafting all i can...
My first problem is that im on an island! I ran all around it and found out few houses but havent been that luck to find that player online and i cannot swim so i cant reach some village or any kind of civilization to get some info about game!

Anyone wana meet with me ingame? and how do i learn swiming?

Welcome, to get swimming you first need to get fishing and that will open up the ability to learn swimming

at your 10 constitution you can only swim for 8 tiles with maxed stamina before you drown. standing still in the water is the same thing.

Unfortunately, if you're stuck on a true island, this is about your only choice. The odds of finding a stranded boat or a friendly stranger to stop and take you to the other side are almost nil.

Well by island i meant land surrounded by water not true island.
il lvl fishing just to be able to swim out of there! I think there are only few tiles of deep water at some side. Il swim to the other side ... or il die trying!
