New World?

I want to know when the new world will be up because i stopped playing a while back in world 6 because of one of my villagers betraying us and leaving our gates open and letting us die in the night, not wanting to start playing again at such a disadvantage of time, I was wondering when the new world is going to be up so me and my friends can be prepared to start playing on the new world on the first day.

My best guess barring massive data corruption? this winter at earliest or more likely Spring 2013.

Alternative would be to get into the Salem beta which is *supposed* to be coming out sometime this month. That will be a clean slate start for everyone, and the game is at least made in the spirit of Haven. *coughs* They've copy pasted images from haven into it in some cases during early development *cough*.
