Well after the Current village I was in has basically died. I am now on my own again.
The last village was going along fine, then the LS had some rl emergency and has never been heard from since.(been 2+ weeks now) So the descision was made to stop aquirin LP and then let Village drain and reclaim LS. only problem is we have an active thief in the village who's taken stuff. I'm 99% sure it's an alt of an exiled villager, one that the LS missed.
So i had 2 options, 1. I could trek back to my old hermitage and once again start over. or 2. I could head to the Peace grid and see how life under D&A umbrella of protection truly is. Since, from my old village it's just a CR away, i chose option 2.
My first shock was how many people I saw and how many settlements were right on the river/lakes(and them only protected by roundpole fences). I believe i saw someone, like every 10 minutes, either boating, or mm'ing some of the local wildlife. everybody either greeted with a Hi or replied when i Greeted them. At first it was rather unnerving, but when I began to see the effects of(dare I say it) peace, my hope was stirring, could this be what, in a skewed/back broken kinda sence, the game was meant to be?
prolly not, but I plan to settle here and possibly write more about my experience in the D&A peace grid.
