So, It's come to my attention that some of you noobs
still haven't gotten a hold on the whole combat system...
So i went ahead n made a little somethin somethin for
them noobs that understand the basics. Please remember
this is only the basics of Movement Combat, and you
should not feel like you can't get any better after getting
the basics down.

~NaoWhut's Guide to Movement Combat For Dummies!~

BASIC MOVEMENT COMBAT~
---------------------------------
Movement combat relies heavily on surprising your
enemy and making them think you are of no threat to them
and only trying to get away. To do this, you may want to try
doing the same thing over and over, then doing something
different to throw the fight over. You should carry 3-5 buckets
of high quality drinking water and 2 drinking containers to
start (And if you're a noob, turn on movement tracking to see
your movement path). More advanced players may chose to
brink something you can craft into an item (1 leather for shoes
or etc).
__Movement Combat requires confidence! This means training too__

TRAINING TECHNIQUES~
-----------------------------
(Standard)Death or Glory!~
Turn on death or glory, have someone use a move
on you constantly. This will be the basic training to start you
out seeing as you can see and hear everytime someone uses
a move on you and your stance goes into effect. You should
get coins everytime they use a move, or count it as a hit/death
for you.
Seperations!~
Seperations are a basic need-to-know for movement
combat, especially when greatly outnumbered or outstatted.
A Seperation is, quite literally; the act of getting out of the
enemy's range (Meaning the area they can use physical combat
moves). The simplest form of Seperation to practice is to run
into the corner edge of a hit box, then move around it; this
method is recommended until you can freely lose someone from
range while running along a wall or towards an object even.
Snake Run~
A good thing to do at times is running in a very very
slightly zig zag'ed pattern (In the phase that you have a slight
lead on your opponent). This way you can see when they drink
by telling when they aren't following you perfectly, but doing this
too often will get you killed right off the bat.
Like a boss~
Agro a bear and run on sprintable terrain, don't die. If
you're not that confident, use a deer or somethin.

ADVANCED TECHNIQUES~
------------------------------
Ride the Lightning~
Use 'Call down the Thunder' or a high cooldown skill,
then click to move and tell your character to use Thunder once
more. This is more effective on low heat or using a high cooldown
skill (Such as evil eye.. wink wink..). Using this allows you to
move while your stances still go into effect. By swapping to a
lower movement speed or going in a path your opponent can intersect
this can be amazing for initiations AND wasting their IP!
Thunder Charge~
-For Chasing- Use Charge to chase, hit your hotkey for
"Call Down the Thunder" and then immediately hit the hotkey for
"Charge". With only minimal practice this can be used to chase
someone and stack coins without stopping for an instant. With more
practice this can be used efficiently to chase down high quality targets
that are using "Call Down the Thunder" back at you while running,
seeing as how you will never stop moving, and only need to be able to
move around objects and maintain this.
Balls of Steel~
Named so because i use leather balls for this trick. Set up a
hotkey to craft an item, usually an item with very few small ingredients
so that it is pocket friendly. To stop instantly, just hit the hotkey to craft
the item. Great for people using Movement Combat against you in risky
chases. ( Credits to Patchouli Knowledge for the concept)
26 Problems~
-A lesser of the tricks, but still- This is a trick for all the MC
based Movement Combatants. It is counterable, but it is also guarenteed
to kill anyone that isn't expecting it. Stack 26 coins using whatever method
you deem necessary and then use Opp Knocks x4 and VS once, with
high enough MC this WILL kill anyone, and if you have enough strength,
they can't really get out of this if you use Combat Meditation to full
away from your opponent before your first Opp Knocks.
FOR NARNIA!!!
Open with one call down the thunder against an opponent that
also uses thunder. After your first thunder drink from your water container
and wait for the opponent to use thunder again. After they have used it,
rush immediately at them on the highest speed and initiate physical combat,
they might panic in a real combat situation. In a spar they will move to
physical combat and the best tactic is to rush them hard, No pain No gain,
Combat Med, etc.

BASIC WATER BASED COMBAT~
-----------------------------
-To those of you who never truly understood what Movement
Combat is... This here is Water Based Movement Combat. (For the trick
i include you should make sure you can get into the water a few steps before
your chaser, this is largely combat for the chased)
River Troll~
-For Experienced Enemies- Tell your character to go to the
middle of the river, but before you get there, get stab on your mouse and
right click your water container. When you get to the middle wait for them
to start catching up and tell your character to drink. An experienced chaser
will swim in after you, either with an attack aimed at you, or to the other
side. If they swim past you, stab them. If they attack you, wait for their
attack, then issue your stab onto them when they move even the slightest
bit. If they don't go in, get to the other side of the water. Depending on how
many there are and if you know what faction they are, stand there. Small
groups of attackers can't do crap, if they back up even the slgihtest, bolt for
it, break agro and change directions.

Disregard this, and follow in the footsteps of Portgas's villagers at Heineken, you must use punch, then refill your offense with jump.
You may have foiled the plans of BAD-EVIL this time, but there is no rest for the wicked.

*Spoiler alert* Movement combat won't work in 1v1 duels if the opponent doesn't move

Your opponent has to move if he wants to kill you.
