Growing Tree Qual Grows

Postby Neyvn » Mon Oct 12, 2009 5:48 am

Did anyone ever stop and watch the Qual level on a tree...
One of the Highest Qual Trees in our village was 32q yesterday, to day I went up to it as usual to grab a branch for Baking. And as I was putting them in, it read 41q. It had jumped big time, don't ask me how or when but the Quality Level rose by nearly 10 points. A couple of Saps just moved up a level, but not enough to find out how their branches are going. When it does I am gonna be watching closely, just to make sure that either I am imaging things or at each level of Growth a Trees qual changes...

Unless someone had already noticed this and hasn't said so...
I will keep you all posted. This might help Foresters in their Work...

assuming I interpreted that correctly, yes it's been fairly well known for a while now that trees don't achieve their full quality potential until fully grown.

Tree quality increases by intervals depending on the original quality.

For example, I had a q24 tree that became q36, then 48. Then bumped into something and stopped growing.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.
