Salem, Archage (But I don't think that's available in Europe or USA, not sure)

I hear Wyrm is close, but I can't be arsed to wait around on it to do things. Also, the free activities get old fast. There's UnReal World, which is a single player survival game. It's not very deep, but has some interesting points and is worth the $3.

You've always got EVE which, as some would describe it, is a grindfest spreadsheets online game where you get to build and then blow things up, so it has some similar aspects. ($15 US per month, possible to play for free after a few months by trading for PLEX in game.) It's sci-fi and you stare at a spaceship all day, though.

If you want the crafting without the PvP, you could check out A Tale in the Desert. ($14 US per month or payable in bitcoin.)

I find Ultima Online alike to H&H, is very old, but I still like it.

Is it still running? I dabbled with it when it first came out, but the Ultima games were never my favorites, so I never really got into it. I always enjoyed the D&D and Might and Magic games best.

Not in the sense that it once was, I believe.
