narrative piece from a godfathers story

Year 1372 “ The last Mission, How bad it went....... Mind this was before any real multi-planetary wars happened, we where assigned to sabotage there space Port to help to cut off supplies, first it was there 6th moon, and then the planet”.......... “Tagert went in first everything was set for us to fly out and press the button boom it would go, but I got caught, how stupid I was all for a child, I was trying to take her to safety it alarmed the guards,” ….... “ so many of them came from everywhere”........ “Demit was shot first, the bullet was meant for me”.......” Then all hell broke loose shots going off everywhere and in the mess of it all I don't know how it happened but it did ”...” fire it spread fast”. “last thing I see is (Mac) hitting me with the butt of his gun”. The Grandfather Sobs and a tear rolls down his face. “next thing i know i'm waking up in an escape pod looking back at the burning husk” “for me that was when I knew I was alone ”
