trying to find my dead mains home

Postby kered9 » Sun Jul 01, 2012 12:26 pm

silly me, I didn't create a hearthsecret alt, so now trying to find a place that I put a lot of effort into. A good start in heading in the right direction and discovering how far away I am would be knowing the geographic relation between Genesis and Dis.

More specifically I was setting up near 3 cabins in a row (two with hearthfires at the door one with 2 dreamcatchers by its door and an unfinished timber house. A stone path leads to a lake to the west and to the north are two swamps. The swamps have small palisaded claims attached. I am wandering at the moment and heading west of Genesis.

Please help.

If you haven't respawned yet, you should be able to inherit from the runestone in the character creation room and just walk up the ladder and appear at your old hearthfire.

You can't reincarnate at your mains place?

Otherwise, if you remember any distinctive landmarks such as a mountain, rivers/lakes. Look around for them on the world map, it might take some time though.

Thankyou very much! Does this normally have the side effect of not being able to gain experience from new objects like branches and pine cones?

Yes. You inherit all of the ancestors discoveries and a portion of his LP and stats.
