I've noticed that more and more people tend to degrade they way they talk to this "ermahgerd" type style. I've also noticed it's rather annoying. So I'm going to annoy myself more and revel in the funny/stupid shit people come up with on this translator. Lol.

They weren't funny to begin with and they still aren't funny. My biggest qualms at the moment are tumblr speak and 4chan's latest abbreviation ISHYGDDT. Those are the dredges of meme fuckups.

I think that forums such as /b/ are just willing to be mean enough to tell you that shit is not funny and annoying. On reddit, if you try to say anything unsupportive, you will be down voted and reviled.

I tend to avoid these sites for a reason. With the internet now becoming a "social thing" to my generation, I feel we've become dumber as a generation. I don't know how it is for anyone whose already been through their early years of life and how they felt about their peers, but for me right now, it feels like everyone my age is a moron.
