Is this game dead?

So I haven't played in months, but now I'm back.
However, the playerbase has apparently lost about 450 players, so my question is: Is this game dead?

There are different opinions on that matter ;)

But i guess your "read around the forums to find an answer myself" skill is a bit rusty :P
