I actually forced myself to watch it to the end and I must admit it wasn't THAT bad. The combat action (at last) and Karla saved last 7 episodes. The episodes before Spark were good. Intro and credits form was awesome. I would verdict overall 6/10. Take out the central part and it would be 7/10. OVA was better. (even if cut terribly)

I still wonder what happened to Deedlit. I mean her friend wasn't so immortal as she was, giving her that little problem Arwen had in LOTR eventually? Although wiki mentions that in the RPG (?canonical? replay) at the end it is revealed she just seduced him to steal his sword. An awesome contrast after nearly overromantised relationship, eh?
Neverthless these damn replays evaporated somehow from the net. Impossible considering how many fans this franchise had.
