My First Impressions

Tutorial.

There is none. When I first appeared in the room with the male and female, who when you click on them either gave you a sex change or name change, it took some nosy clicking around to figure out... Took longer than I would of liked I might add. Some simple Left click = move, Right click = action would of been nice and then some. Not every player that will play this game will use the forums and wikia to learn all there is to know.

Besides this, as I climbed up the ladder into the world of H&H, I appeared at the Ring of Brodgar with no idea what to do. After wondering around aimlessly for some time, some kind player gave me the low down on what to do. How to eat, build, etc. This is where the community shines and must say so far, I've had no bad feelings for this community. Most seem mature, intelligent, and helpful. Without that kind player, I most certainly would of left this game for something else.

One suggestion: Please add more apple trees to the ring of brodgar. There is only one remotely close to it and for newbies, makes it tough to start out. I've heard of griefers purposely chopping apple trees near ring of brodgar just to be an ass.

Hope to see you all in game.

EDIT: Another thing that would greatly increase user experience is tooltips. Like for example: personal beliefs. You have to look on forums to know what is going on and what it means.

Welcome! Tooltips will probably make it in there some day. The early game, and its frustrating lack of a streamlined introduction, are probably two major issues holding the game back atm.
