An old game about surviving

I am looking for an old surival sim game about ship crash survivor.
The player was supposed to survive on lone island untill help arrived (was supposed to summon it with SOS banners AFAIR).
I, of course, forgot the name of it, since the last time I played it was when I was like 10 years old.

The chances are some of you remember it. Any help is welcome.

Survival: The Ultimate Challenge is a PC strategy game developed and published by Activision Value released in 2001.

The concept of the game is to save a random group of people stuck on an island, a desert or another remote location.
By using what the nature has to offer, the player can, for example, use a leaf to make clothes or wood beams to make a shack.

It's a survival simulation with older graphics.

There is no such thing as "DOS graphics" so you won't find it grim

I just recalled that I found it in one of PC games magazines (CD Action), so I might post and lurk their forums and give you the title.
The game was really challanging and interesting, so it would be pity if I couldn't find it.

I posted on the magazine's forum, so help might come, perhaps if one of the mag editors replies. Their memory does wonders sometimes.
