Donations (can someone talk to dev's?)

Postby jonamaster » Tue Mar 26, 2013 12:26 am

Hi, we all are happy with the lag fix, well... THIS IS THE GREATEST THING THAT HAPPENED 2013!!
But i'm wondering if someone can talk with the dev's, and tell them to make a bigger "Donate" button, so more people can see that. I want to support this game, and i think that if lag is gone 100% then i'll start donating monthly. i'm not saying "Hey guys, START DONATING ZOMGOMG", but there's a lot of people that can donate but don't even know there is such button. Yeah, veteran players already do this i think, but this is for the incoming players :)

Maybe there could be a "Hall of Fame" with top contributors or something, but well i don't know if that work

(Oh, if someone can tell me how to change my avatar, Thank You :D )

I've been playing for almost 2 years now and I had no idea there was a donate button. Holy crap.

If you can add cash to your PayPal account from your country (from a Bank or somethign) then yes, in my case i have a debit card (the cheapest) from Visa. Oh, i'm from Uruguay, maybe there is somethig similar in your country.

Yeah, the button is at the bottom of this page (and all pages from the forums).
I think that if they change that button maybe people can support a bit more, oh and they should start promoting this game (you know, those MMO sites).

Unfortunately I wont donate unless I get something back for it. I'm not on the wealthy side but am always willing to buy bonuses from donation. (Take minecraft for example)

I wish they would just impliment that here, haven is a freaking gold mine.

Hmmm most people don't like the "pay to win" part. Yeah they can add cosmetics i think, League of Legends is making A LOT of money from cosmetics that don't affect the gameplay (Skins and all that stuff). And yep, this game is a gold mine :)

WHat I don't understand is why they had to move on to salem when this game was working. I wouldn't say cosmetics, because the game isn't exactly pretty. But I meant like starter supplies like a q30 axe, a pick, all the essentials for a new player. It would be AMAZING for the start of world 7.

This is a good idea, hope they implement something like that in a future, they don't need Salem, they can make this game bigger.

I've always said that. It seems like a lot of people aren't enjoying salem.

Id pay 10 bucks for a wolf cape
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy
