Noob Helping Stones

Postby farmchamp » Wed Oct 21, 2009 12:48 am

I am undergoing a new project to help new players of H&H. I will be going across the land and making runestones with helpful tips, and planting a poppy in front, and add a wicker basket for people to put noob assisting items such as seeds. The poppy is for easy recognition of noob-stones as I am calling them. Please, if you have time, make some yourself and place them all over the hearthlands. You will see one at the ROB soon explaining the idea.

i hope you're using the stones you dug out of your cellar rather than destroying natural resources

I also hope that no random griefers nor the noobs themselves would undo your project.

Dear God I hope. I will place a few under the rocks in the ROB to explain the penalties of griefing and theft, as well as give them the basic controls. As for the stones, I don't have a cellar because I don't have a pick. So resources from the edge of the supergrid are expended or someone steps up and digs me a cellar/donates rocks. I am sure no one will do the latter, so I shall proceed with the former, sorry environmentalists.

Some guy already turned one into a Runestone and put it under one of the rocks... It isn't carved yet. I would do the rest now but my alt doesn't have stoneworking somehow and my main is full travelweariness. Well, g'night yall!
