Download and install Ender's client. Now.
Download and install Daji's graphic and texture mod. Now.
Make a few alts and stuff them with corn cow's.
Don't live next to a river or lake, in fact, live very far away from rivers and lakes. They will see you.

When I try to log in through enders it says connection refused: connect

Study the RoB Wiki http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Haven_and_Hearth_Wiki
and there are a lot of nice and friendly ppl playing - the pad pois just shout louder
check ports TCP 1871 and UDP 1870 - make exceptions in firewall/router settings - make sure your AV isn't blocking...

no problem with compiling yourself and offering it - that's why there is Sourcecode and Forks
but for ppl having problems it's better to use the "Standard" Ender to troubleshoot everything else before thinking it's Ender related in my opinion
