Back once again

Postby Ogrim » Tue Apr 09, 2013 5:29 pm

Hey all, now that H&H is back lag free I've come back to the game. Some of you might have known me (Ogrim, Grendel, Orog) and I look forward to re-establishing contacts.

In the downtime my large hermitage was hit by a palibasher. Though my high end valuables were taken (q 270+ bonesaw) as well as all of my metal stockpile, I've still got most of my medium quality goods and the capacity to produce decent q food and curios. I just finished repairing the palisades (ground level as well as mine level) and I have a brick wall around a decently large area that is about 80% complete. I've got access to plenty of clay but I won't have the 5 steel bars for a gate for some time.

Since I'm now gainfully employed (1 year of unemployment was not fun) I won't be blowing scores of hours every week in the game. That said, I should like to drop a 'contained village idol' on my level 2 mine to once again engage in trade. I will likely once again start my 'help new hearthlings' outreach to any folks starting villages nearby. This has ranged from donated materials to pop a village idol to an occasional dead bear donation or a set of metal tools. Anyone in the SG just SouthWest of the central SG would be considered 'nearby'.

Welcome back. Be sure to start on a brick wall ASAP. Otherwise you'll be palibashed, robbed, and probably murdered. ;)

WB and congrats on the job. Unemployment sucks.

Been checking out H&H myself again too. It's a race to see what I can do before I get myself eaten or killed.

@Amanda44
No need for apologies. That was fun. :)

Not really sure how they would murder me? I don't leave scents. Either way, steel is cooking, bw will be done with a gate in 3 days.
