The Japanese in Haven

Since I first posted about Haven on some Japanese forums a couple of years back we have a decent number of people from Japan playing. Since the lag went away we even see peaks of 30 players at once.

I thought I might post some translations of haven related discussions in Japanese now and then for laughs.

So I met some guy and said hi.
He asked me where I was from.
I said 'Japan'.
He said, 'oooh, I'm from Russia.'
Then he killed me, looted my corpse and walked off.

just so you know, see the thread title says "QL11"? (meaning its the 11th thread with a joke using quality)
its very first one was made by mousho (if you still remember him) just around when you went inactive.

nostalgia... it started out as mousho and me alone talking to each other, pretending to be new players joining :lol:

now i hardly post anything and the thread keeps on growing, with its "sibling" threads popping around.

Just whatever you do stay away from Koreans.... I don't want this world completely over ran like starcraft and not to be able to win fights...... They so dam good at playing video games its scary

I've met villages full of them, had a few as village mates, and gotten directions from some while exploring before. There are plenty of friendly Russians, they are often worried by the language barrier though. I've noticed ones that can't speak English at all tend to leave if you can only speak English, is all. It's probably just as scary for them as it is for us. =)
