Maybe next time try using a little bit of (not so common) common sense and deductive reasoning... inside the brackets you have 2 open parenthesis but only one close parenthesis, so a simple typo...now where should that missing ')' go? Obviously you assumed it went just before the bracket, which is understandable but does lead to the confusion you are having. However, if you ask yourself "where else might it go" you'll see that it could also be 2*(ingredient 1) + etc. etc. which makes a helluva lot more sense in context. Guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to update it on the wiki ... done.
