Is there a market for zero FEP food?

Postby Sarge » Fri Oct 23, 2009 3:10 pm

To share and potentially promote my embaressment, lol, I thought I'd check if there's a market for food that gives zero FEP's.

I've just baked a couple batches of q9 Honey Buns, which gives zero FEP. Clearly the rounding factor in the formula resulted in <0.5 and, well, there we have it. :s

Is anyone looking for zero FEP food?

Yes there is. But honey buns are not filling, so these do not. you would find that bread with 0 FEP's has a market as miner food.

1. Get a q10 kiln.
2. Get some wooden blocks from trees planted by newbies, which have quality so low that Loftar believes you'll lose LP by crafting with them.
3. Light it with branches from the aforementioned trees.
4. Make bricks in the q10 kiln using the no-quality branches.
5. Build a smelter with the bricks.
6. Smelt the ore with the charcoal from the no-quality trees.
7. Build a grinder with the low cast iron/wood.
8. Butcher animals with a character with 1 survival and a q3 axe.
9. Make WWWs with a character with 1 cooking.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

Should try it out, those would be really handy paired with hq water for heavy labor projects.

FEP = B * √(Q/10)
= 3 * √(1/10) (eg. lvl 1 rabbit and lvl1 survival and very crappy axe)
= 1

It looks like the minimum possible is 1 FEP per each of the 5 attributes WWW contributes to.

Actually, 3 * √(1/10) < 1, which would be rounded down,
so it should be possible to get 0 FEP out of it.

i believe that rabbits have Q10 everything, and you have to have low cooking to get its Q down
