What happened? Are you getting lazy, Loftar and Jorb? ;)

Nah, I don't have to have something new every week. It's just that I'm a bit curious.

Yeah, I've been sitting here all day, refreshing the page, but it always comes up the same :(

Give us some vague promises to hang on to, please. Like, Loftar started working on a long-postponed critical feature, or something like that.

I think it has something to do with the reports of an entire supergrid being wiped off the face of the hearth.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

Hm, server's shut down. They must be fixing something.

Loftar announced he was investigating the nuked grid.

Why is it a "nuked grid" if it just dissapeared. Nuked implies that it's completely devoid of life and there's only one tile there to grow, mudflats for example.

Nuked as in, the only thing that remains is pavement, all walls, all buildings, all claims, all construction, all trees, all logs.. Animals still spawn, Did I mention some cliffs are gone too?

FWIW, the reason we didn't do any concrete development is because we spent 10 hours or so discussing the future development of Haven at a more abstract level. We've really had far too few of these discussions since we started getting users in the end of May, so we went through quite a couple of subjects that we've been putting off for far too long now. We're still far from done, mind you, and I don't really want to document any half-baked ideas, but parts of what we went through was how to fix the fighting system, how to flesh out character development, how to combat the lack of specialization (or rather, how to make it fun and meaningful to specialize), how to increase the value of playing the game anew with a new character and in what direction we should be taking the development of new fun stuffs.
