Really... I'm finding it hard to keep liking haven. I mean, me and my friend started playing again just 3 days ago.

we finished building our old second mine, had just put up our village idol down there, sealed off the entrance with a chest and sign poles, tested it. Came on today ready to go and activate our idol, none of us could log in where we left off, inside the hole... -.-

So i can only assume somebody found a way in and claimed down there... Next thing, i'm off on a curiosity and food hunt, i find 2 perculiar flotsams and a bluebell, ready to be able to trade these, next thing I know 3 twats steal my boat and it's chests...

Now, being a hermit, this just leaves me disheartened for the game... We had JUST got an iron mine, and JUST got enough to trade for some forge rings and a monocle, then players have to be cunts...

Meh, we'll probably keep playing. I just had to rant. Although it'll be a more half-assed approach from now. Fuck everything being a hermit and trying to get a mine hole going.

We stopped playing a few months back due to the lag and some twat from dis murdering my main. we started again and the majority of our buildings and what were still there. We picked it up from where we left off.

Also, all these things are your fault accually. You gave someone the chance to get inside your minehole somehow, you also left your boat to be able to be stolen (while you should've put that bluebell and flotsam in your inventory). These things happen and you learn from it.

You can easily get flotsams to buy those rings in about 2 hours MAX, so I don't see what's to rant about. Sure the mine hole sucks, but there has been alot more worse things that happened to me than that.

last time i tried building an idol for a vault, i forgot about it, let it sit for 3 days and it got taken

someone could have just tunneled to where you are, and since i assume it wasnt claimed, claimed it themselves. always claim a place, just in case.

someone also could have just built a mine hole next to/around yours, so that they could plop themselves down.

many people on this game are assholes, so when it comes to things like the bluebell and such, just keep them on you no matter what instead of putting them in a chest, so that when someone comes by next time and takes your boat, you have your valuables.

when i leave my hermitage at night, since i know there are bug rams and ways to cliff jump, etc, i take ALL of my most valuable items and keep them in my inventory. alt vaulting would be a better idea, but im too lazy to make some :p

sorry bout your stuff though, i understand that feeling of getting your ass kicked from under you in places like that.
