I just found some with a perc*expl skill of 77. I could have sworn it took more than that before.

Hardcapped survival for foraging means harder time to gain growth, so lowering the requirements to spot things is to ease that down?
There might be other stuff that is changed that isn't mentioned.

agreed i'm pretty sure he left some things out in the change log but i guess that gives us some new things to discover on our own

Don't think it's too much lower though. I spotted one at 80 per*exp on top of a cliff, and of course it was gone when I went around. I had to go back and forth around twenty times or more, I think, before I got it to "pop" again.
