W6 was exactly the same, by the way.

As people get more and more comfortable with their understanding of the combat system and as long as characters are essentially disposable with the current LP system, then the world will continue to be a more hostile place.

just gotta weather the new world storms, things will settle eventually. youll have two factions, (likely AD and one other) duking it out and general making menaces of themselves, and everyone else will live happy, or semi-happy lives. those that dont will die off and quit.

The xenophobia bit is new to me, though I'd been repeatedly warned about Russian raiders in World 6.

I'm liking it though. I've met plenty of friendly hearthlings, (Some of whom are even still alive :B) and found a particularly beautiful grassland with every variety of tree. And I've yet to die, so there's that.

all dis xenophobia and black skill rushing is nonsense, its making the world shit so far because everyone wants to revert back to endworld playstyle when in actuality its entirely pointless and wont work this early on.

Seems to be less lag. Less lag than unplayable lag anyway.

Also, I think there is a slight uptick in the amount of forageables and animals spawning.
