Archery to weak?

Postby hiro » Tue Jun 11, 2013 5:42 pm

last world haven't played it a lot, stopped at the first month and didnt follow much the wars etc but im wondering if archers were a little not saying a lot but a little strong enough to damage thru high end armors,i remember world 5 was like almost the same damage - armor and hardly could do any good damage.
Martial belief and higher stat than enemy as example

Archery is strong if your bow and PER are high enough. However, they're practically built for sniping.

once your MM is high enough, your damage output outweighs that of the sling. (unless the sling is really good) only problem is some "testing" me and one of my villagers did at the end of w6. we shot arrows at each other. he had a q50 bow and I dont know how much MM, I had a q129 bow and 120MM. we both kept our breastplates on, these were both q24 bronze. our arrows did jack to that armor. at least it proves that armor is good for saving your life at least, not that it needed proving.

I'd like to see archery made weaker but give us the ability for moving kambert with bows.
Aiming would remove sprint as an option but running is allowed after you've "mastered" your bow with your mm skill

Thought the same some days ago. Just make it as in UA, where STR affects your DMG, let PERC affect your DMG, because at the moment the max Damage is capped from bow and arrow if im not wrong.

Anyways, from mid world on Archery is useless, you cant break your enemys AC with a few shots.

Yeah i want to be a archery fag in pvp but am told it becomes useless later

why is there only bone and stone arrows? no wonder they cant break through armour.

give us some metal arrows that can pierce armour

Archery needs to become way more powerfull, in a 1v1 you will lose instantly

In a 1v1 if you're an archer you should be behind a wall.
