Trees and their formula

Postby ramones » Thu Jun 20, 2013 7:21 am

I've searched through whole forum and actually there is no good thing to find about it so I said I'll just make new thread and hopefully together we can find something usefull for everyone, since this isn't big secret to be hold :)

What formula do you have for tree growth? So far I found many people saying following ones, and since I was out of the game for about a year, I'm still kinda rusty so didn't figure smart one yet...

((soil+water+pot+table)+4x seed)/8

sqrt((soil+water+pot+table) * seed) ... something

Anyone willing to share your thoughts regarding this?

I think the table q counts for a bit more to be honest. how else can you make q 170 trees?

Pft, dunno why I couldn't find this one. Though from all formulas there and information collected from some testings, I still couldn't find exact accurate one, or if it was good, there were some exceptions, which I'm trying to figure out now.

Burg, you still got DoG contact, so I can get spreadsheet access to see the testings of others? :)

Well, table + seed updates. Each table update can bring you 1q higher seed, each higher seed can then up q by 1-2 again and that kinda circle which never ends.

Last world (water+soil+pot+table)/4+seed/2 worked fine untill around q140 then it fell to shit for fir trees, but it still worked for me for mulberry trees, i dunno i put it down to bad coding.

This is preety much the same for me, until I reached some q it was fine, after it it was just no go. I don't think farming would play any major role in it, since my farmer had 300+ farming by that time already.

Yea at the end of last world most our trees were q 184+ top was 188 or something, but the formula said we could bairly have q 180-182. Also hardened leather is totally fucked up, we spend all last world trying to work it out, pumping different stats etc and never got it, thats why at this stage I just want to call it bad coding :)

Hm, don't think I still do. But he did check the forums here lately. Maybe he is going to read this.

Otherwise ask Sarchi, Avu or someone.
