Fisherman's wharf

Postby Potjeh » Sun Nov 01, 2009 11:09 am

This thread is for bragging about all the huge fish you caught (and for determining what kind of fish there are).

I've just caught a brill, fishing in a river with a plant fibre line, bone hook and an earthworm. Moon is in the waning phase, and by it's position I'd say it's about 4AM. Brill gives 1str and 1dex.

*edit*
Different bait, everything else the same:
Lake - earthworm: perch
Lake - woodfish: roach
River - tin fly: roach

Also, rock lobster sucks monkey balls. I've never caught anything with mine. It's just q10, though.

Apparently, roach is the new perch. I've caught them with just about every type of bait. They give int and dex, though, so they're not completely unwelcome.

q58 salmon. It takes up two spaces and turns into 2 filets of salmon when butchered. Heck yes.

..... Do I eat this raw or what?
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

Roast it like any meat. I think raw fillets give black FEP, but I haven't tried.

Shoot, I ate it raw.
I was wondering why it gave no FEP.

Yay q118 perch.

Shame that I have to take the time to roast it now.

Caught a salmon with a poppy wobbler, fishing in the morning from the shore of a river.
