I need admin help to claim a village

Postby Samael » Mon Nov 02, 2009 9:04 am

Hi,
sorry for my poor english, hope you can understand me.

several weeks ago, i start building a new village with other two players. Since we can't claim the village, one of us put his claim in order to cover all the village area and protect it form other players. Now he seems stop playing H&H (he was playing every day), i have no other contact so I can't ask him. The problem is that i have recruited other 4 players but they can't use what we have in the village. Of course I can't build a village claim (i need the new players to claim the village) and solve the problem.

Can I ask for an admin help to remove that claim, please? I know this may seems a strange request, but I really need that help to let the village grow.

If necessary, I can play between 14,00 and 21,00 gmt+1

Thank you.

Build a village idol and make sure the influence covers the claim. Then you (or whoever is the lawspeaker) can destroy the claim.

Edit: Reading for the win

Seems you already said that. Well, I guess you could build the idol just outside of the claim and then expand to it. Or something.

Sounds to me like OP raises a very valid concern. What if they don't get 5 members for days, or don't want 5 memebers or don't get all 5 on at the same time for a week etc. Lawspeaking is also 20k LP, that is pretty damn tough for a noob, especially since there are so many other skills that take priority when spending LP as a noob.

What if they want a totem right at the claim pole?

I would honestly come and help bash down that bugger, but I can't.

This means that I have to build the idol totaly outside the village (and this is not nice), I'd like to build it inside (peraps I started building it saome days ago in the center of the village, I just needed to finish it). :(
Moreover, the idol influence has to cover all the claim or just the totem?

English is pretty good here, no worries. First bold is a tense error, second is confusing "put" with a transitive verb (needs one object) when it is an incomplete transitive (needs two, a direct and an indirect). Third was spelling, welcome to the family, fourth almost impossible to explain, but basically English verbs that take other verbs after them come in four varieties: those that take infinitives (want); those that take the present participle (enjoy); those that take both with no difference (like); and those that take both with a difference (stop). Last one needs a perfect tense to show a complete action. Overall, though, I wouldnt worry about your English. I would bet that your post was more intelligible to the average native speaker than this one was. Heh.

Edit -- Alcohol can impinge on your ability to write. To an extent.

If you speak of the plot owned by "Bardos", then I can remove it for you. That means he'll lose the LP invested in it, though.
