New Player Introduction

Hello,
my name is Louis and I am new to Haven & Hearth. I am looking for neighbors or possibly a village to call home. I understand that I am knew and less likely to be trusted but just wanted to say hello and get familiar with the community.

Hello Louis,

If you are looking for a village you might try checking out the Dwarves & Thieves section of the forum; Either to create a topic for yourself or to look at some of the villages that are recruiting.

You are doing it wrong then, all you have to do is brickwall an island, just like me.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Ahahaha, If I could do it at least...
Still need more tech (only paralisade wall yet) ...and...still it seems impossible to find a unclaimed mine/cave, lol.
