Let me explain a little about the server world. The server version is 1.6.2. I am running the server on the same computer I play on, but she's a tough rig and I'm sure she can handle the 20 player limit I have it currently set to. The difficulty is set to Hard because we all know anything less isn't even worth playing. PvP is set to active, so you CAN hit and kill people should you so choose. The world type is LARGEBIOMES so you won't run into snow, desert and jungle within 100 blocks of eachother. The server also uses the Faithful 32x32 texture pack by default, so if everything is set up correctly it should automatically download it from my dropbox account upon joining the server. Of course, if you don't use the default texture pack and have your own selected it will be overridden.
The screenshot shown above is the spawn point when you first enter the world. It's in the extreme hills biome so you'll have plenty of natural resources nearby.
I do, however, want to stress one extremely important point. While I'm not going to moderate and hold your hand and break up every little quarrel that might happen in the server, I expect you all to try and play nicely with one another. If someone is griefing you, deal with it yourself. People might not agree with this but I think we're all old enough to know right from wrong, so I'm hoping we can all play together in a mannerly order.
