Random question: Telegrab a lightsaber

So in SW universe were there any duels when one participant could just outright loosen the lightsaber grip of his opponent or just completely disarm them? Why isn't this common practice?

The force is so strong near the palm of the hands that telegrabbing is ineffective.

So even if force sensitiveness odds were great, they would have to be great enough so one of duelists would be doomed anyway?

I dunno from film, but usually in the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight games Force users were resistant to Force Pull. Also there is some SW-universe mysticism about the connection between a Jedi and their lightsaber, so I assume the Force would have less ability to draw lightsabers away from their holders.

If you've read most of the novels and comic books, you get some ideas, but I don't think it's ever been explicitly discussed. Some of the lore stuff published outside of those might have more information.

Also jedi sometimes threw their lightsabers like a boomerang. What then? Why not just grab the saber then and completely disarm your opponent?
