Troll Death

So im feeling super depressed because I just died.

Started playing in world 2 and I have made it this entire time without ever dying. never even died while on one of my alts either.

so I was mining before bed and a level 4 troll spawned... I ran to the ladder. as I ran to the ladder it punched me and took off 50% of my defense. so I was at the top of the ladder yelling troll in chat... and then I thought to myself... 50%? that's nothing... so I thought.... that trolls only cause caveins when you shoot them (or so I had read). I should be able to kill him with my punches.

WRONG

I popped down the ladder, put on oak stance and dashed once. it did 2 moves on me and gained about 10% offence with each move. he was at 38% offence and I was back to almost 100% defence then BAM.. rocks on my head and I am out cold. he punches me 2x and I am dead.


So I guess the only way to kill a troll is to glitch him.

After inherit I have only 4 million LP now.... because I only get 25% of 600 which is 150... which is very depressing for someone like myself who really likes having a strong character.

Sucks man... Yeah trolls can't really be killed with legitimate methods. Even moreso this world.

Once again the feature implemented will kill more guys mining manually than bots digging auto, since they are just alts... gg :S

Well, it's pretty well-known that Trolls will f*ck you up, that is why people do what they do to kill them now. Had things been the way they were before he would not have escaped at all and he would have been dead, but because you only lose 50% from being hit by moving no matter the damage he was allowed to escape. Not trying to sound like Captain Hindsight but if you didn't want to lose your character you shouldn't have gone back down and tried fighting it 1v1. The price for your hubris was paid for in blood.

Could of just made it so trolls broke cellar stones and bodies. But nope, that'd be logical. Better make them throw cave ins and make it so you just have to abuse even more retarded game mechanics to kill them.
