Can anyone Translate this?

Postby morrogoth » Sun Sep 08, 2013 6:47 pm

Heres the story:

I was foraging along, collecting roots and such for rope, when I spotted a herd of Mouf. so i slung down three, filled two crates and had to carry the last corpse, but down the river from where I came was two boats, looking like they were left to rot, so I decided to store my remaining kill in the boat and carry it boating back to my little hovel, when i spotted some river mussels and set everything down to collect them, well during my trip earlier another boater was traveling along and said hi and he didnt reply but continued on, but later on when i was collecting the river mussels the boater came up and had taken the boat with my kill in it and vanished. having a little common sense I decided it was not worth the protest and made haste back to my place. so when i logged in a little while ago, out side my door were 3 runestones I placed for communications with my neighbors who are mostly helpful and friendly, but on one stone was a russian word and "dick" on it. and on the other was this Image. Should I be concerned?

It's rough, but it says "Vodka Smirnoff, Whiskey-Sour"

Hey Hobo :)
It means "Who lives here?"
You should definitely not be concerned.

ahh, but the second stone i think called me a dick, but if anyone in the area knows who wrote the stones, I am Dirty Hobo 2, a peaceful wandering tradesman, just found a wonderful spot to live for awhile. im not foraging the area hardcore, nor do I bot. but to any other village in the area, I do freelance labor, all the jobs no one cares or wants to do, short of violence, because im non violent. maybe we can work it out?

Its written in caps so it might mean that the author was shouting or threatening you like "who the fuck lives here?" or "once I find out who lives here I will butcher you like a bunny"

I see, hopefully we can resolve this peacefully.

it also contains lethal, common, kidish gramar mistake "ЖЫВЕТ" when correct is "ЖИВЕТ" so this was writen by a very very young person. its like if someone would write "LIVE" as "LEEVE" etc.

That probably explains why its written in caps.

That might also be an autotranslate error.

Im always of the opinion that if a runestone was left in your area in Russian, it most likely is someone who speaks English but wants to seem more threatening than they actually are.

People have been shitting their pants over anything Russian sense the whole W3 incident.

No its not translation coz any translator beside of russian kids know that 'live" = "жИвет". its very common kids grammar mistake coz its sounds same with "И" and "Ы". They didint ever saw this word in text coz they just dont read anything beside Dota guides.
