A small update

Proving once again the futility of willpower.

Hello gang. Just popping in to see what's going on. From some of the threads I've read it seems the forum's not doing so well in terms of activity, so I hope the mods will look the other way on this blog-ish post.

For those of you who don't know I'm to be a father very soon. A litle girl, Elliott Ava, she'll be born on January 7. I doubt I'll have much free time to myself once she's born but I definitely want to keep in touch with you guys here. To be honest I haven't played H&H since I "quit" back in September. Currently playing Starbound and it's quite fun, but sadly that too will be something I won't be able to play much of come Jan 7.

I'll keep this post short since I must be ready for work in 4 hours, and I'll leave with a question so there's actually a point to this thread. Who else is still around and has a faction dominated the world yet?

Hey btay - I don't think there are any factions other than AD, it's not the same in terms of faction wars as it has been for the last two worlds i've played, consequently the forums are pretty dull in that regard.
It's all newbies getting trapped in their palisades or getting raided by AD groups -

Emerald has built and opened a trade hub, did you read all about that? She is planning other communal area's as well.

World seems quite empty, lots of players have dropped off now but not quite as dead as the end of world six, yet.

Elliott Ava - what a lovely name, not long to go now until she makes her debut, exciting new year ahead for you all.
Best wishes btay - keep us posted. :)

My husband and I still play, but I'm getting burned out doing the same things again for the third world, but can't ever leave H&H.

Congrats on the upcoming fatherhood and best wishes. One bit of advice: When it comes to children, it goes by far too fast. Don't blink or you'll miss something. ;)

How do you like Starbound? I haven't tried it but I love sci-fi. The only sandboxes I casually play are H&H and UnReal World.

I really enjoy it. They've done a good job making it, even though the current game is only a fraction of what they have planned. If you enjoyed playing Terraria you'll enjoy Starbound 100x more.
