This guy is awesome, He murders 4 people, admits it, had like 20 witnesses, and his punishment is probation with zero jail time.

To all of you living in the USA, I can now officially say Canada is better. You can't make fun of us anymore, because your country is scum.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Ethan Couch got probation after a psychologist testified he had "affluenza" — meaning he thought he was immune from punishment because he was rich.

Couch also faces two lawsuits from passengers from in his own truck. One seeks $20 million on behalf of a teen who was thrown from the truck during the crash and can no longer speak or move, and the other seeks unspecified damages on behalf of another teen passenger.

What a little shithead lol

I bet his parents are super happy he's going away for 10 years and are more than willing to fit the bill. I doubt they've spent much time with him, or wanted to, anyways

is it the system itself that is *glorious*?
to me, it seems more about people - the judge, lawyer and the most importantly, jury who brought this very verdict.

Looks like America just showed the world their tiered justice system. I guess it really is just a case of Us and Them, Them being the people with connections and Us being average citizens. So murder is put on a curve and 16 year old kids with a superiority complex can basically walk. And to top it off, how would this sentence help with his view of being immune to punishment? This has likely reinforced that view a million times over.

From an American, this was no surprise.

Money, and being famous has always made you better than everyone else in the law and governments eyes. This is just the most recent example of it.

So, the question is... What country do I move to? Preferably some place I can toke in peace.
