You can still play the original game for some time after hafen releases (as far as i know). The old game will be shut down sometime after hafen releases though. The game is still free.

The current World 7 will continue initially until the playerbase dissapears or Jorbtar just randomly decides to drop the servers. It's already getting down to like 40-50 players and World 8 hasn't even launched yet. i can;t imagine a valid reason for it to be kept up for long.

awesome hearing that news im going to make some damn good efforts to donate :)
The Brodgarwalder Shwarzhanden im really interested in seeing this take off. Players who are interested in combat but that want to fight the good fight and not necesarilly be part of any town except for alliance could hopefully be interested. Basically Nomadic Ranging/Combat SPecialists helping those in need and heelping to forge new alliances.

So expect Haven 2.0 to launch early in our morning, but don't be too hopeful that the server will be 100% stable all day :P

Well, they still have to generate a world map and so on, so I'd add at least 4h or so to that estimate.

They're not just generating the map beforehand? :?: WTF

So you instead pelted them from a boat while they stood there mindlessly accepting the punishment, or alternatively maybe you built a fence around them, or the like?

I'm not sure that's the best disposition for a hunting system either. ;)

Never built fences, but hunting from a boat? that is my favorite. :P
