You weren't here for the old server, were you? It was baked in grease, and in addition to the constant game server crashes, the computer itself would occasionally fail in horrible ways.

A trusty old pentium 450mhz with a whopping 384 megs of RAM

and since then:

an AMD Athlon XP 2200+ with 1 GB of RAM
