Donation counter?

It would be interesting to see a donation counter, so we know how well we are doing for the month. That way, I think it would provoke people to donate more if it was down in the tens. I know i'd donate an extra 5-10 bucks if I saw that the donation for the month was only at $30 or so.

What say all of you guys to this idea? Think its good?

You could add the names of the donators too, if you wanted, but I think this would cause donation-elitism. IE, I donated $100, that makes all of you other hearthlings inferior to me.

PS: I haven't actually donated $100, that was an example. I will not post how much I donated, because I do not wish to brag or seem cheap :p

Its a phpbb module for donations. I used it before and as far as I remember It supports donation reporting. Also it adds other cool functionality, like automatic addition to a supporters group when you donate and etc.
