Earlier than 2011 I think. 2007 I'm guessing. That's shit graphics for a 2011 game.

Final fantasy 7 was released orginally in 1997.
It was the first rpg of its kind that was released on the release of thr playstation 1
Then i think in 2000 squaresoft turned into square enix which took the final fantasy series into the shit stages
In i think 2005 the ps3 was annouced and at E3 one of the techinal demos was a redone with the current graphics of that year
Everyone made a huge hype thinking sqaure enix was going to remake the entire game and
had to do a press release stating that they werent remaking the game.....
It was a huge let down square enixa stocks dropped by 5 percent or something
Ff7 is still the best storyline and gameplay of all time...
Even if you dont like crap graphics go buy it on steam and give it a whirl
