Picturesque Village

I'm thinking of making parks around my village.
Sort of like, grass area bordered by poppies, entrances are flax on either side to provide a little colour. Maybe a couple of trees inside or an influence statue.

Thoughts?

Edit: This is mainly because all of the other villages I have come across look quite.. well... ugly. Sort of like someone walled off an area, paved randomly or didnt pave at all, then chucked a bunch of seeds and houses at it.

He might have, can't remember, I just brought up the idea in steam. What a coincidence though Looks like we are all in favour of the idea. It shall be done. Feel free to mark out any ideas you want with objects or the like.
