Cave Maps

Postby theTrav » Sun Nov 22, 2009 7:17 am

Re-purposed this post for sharing my collection of cave maps

The first one I mapped, quite large, features a couple of lakes, a cavern and multiple exits.

Qualsh Caverns - check the brodgar region map to find this one and explore yourself!

caves look far more interesting than mines, but still need a bit more wild life/fauna/different minerals to be properly engaging.

After mapping I have little desire to return to a cave except on the glorious quest for more cave bulbs

The plan is to make them a kind of dreamy underworld where things aren't quite as real as in the sunlit aboves. Lack of creature AI foobared some of that, but I'm looking forward to fleshing them out when we do the next map gen. You are quite right, of course.
