Co-op dungeon crawlers?

I am looking for a dungeon crawler game closest to nethack that would be co-op playable.
Any suggestions? Permadeath welcome. Cannot into tabletop Dungeons and dragons.

Not exactly like it but I'd like to suggest Elona. It has quite a steep learning curve, so I'd suggest not choosing permadeath for your first play through. You can if you want but it's a bit more pleasant to get familiar with the controls and mechanics before throwing yourself to the dogs in my opinion. =)

Well, I am working on a turn based multiplayer dungeon crawler on and off, if that is what your looking for. But forget it, Its not going to be done any time soon.
