Christmas feast

Postby Agarrett » Tue Nov 24, 2009 12:49 am

Since the Halloween celebration never really happened, I have decided to host a Christmas feast. Unlike the halloween celebration, this will be a feast with many people there. I personally will be setting up tons of pumpkin slices and different seeds for new players. If Loftar and Jorb add tables, pumpkin pie, and turkey, I will also have that. This party will not be hosted at the RoB, as I feel that that location is inadequate for a party location. I will reveal the location of the party soon, and I can reassure you, it is very accessible from the RoB and Novigrad if you have a boat. Bring anything you can besides mulberries and apples.

how's it going to work though? There's no eating animation, no special effects to make it worthwhile.. all you do is right click eat and gain FEP... D:

Do you have a bunch of alts hiding in your pants somewhere? Why are there going to be more people than before?[/quote]

Now you've just gone off the deep end. You expect them to code animate balance and implement: a piece of furniture, 2 new cooking recipes, and an entirely new animal that has no reason to be added to the game in order to make a thanksgiving feast possible? Oh yeah and they have 3 days to do it. Image
I once dreamt of crafting beautiful thane's rings... then I discovered Big Bear Bangers. Now I smash beautiful things.

There was no host at the Halloween party, so no one wanted to come.

The party won't be until sometime during the weekend. I correct myself, if ONE of those items are added as a Friday update, then I will use it. I mean, they did invent chairs, its just a matter of time before they add tables anyways.

To my knowledge, Sweden does not have Thanksgiving. So why should they mark a purely American holiday? (Even Canada has its Thanksgiving on another date.)

Tables can still be used for other purposes though.

The party will NOT be during the actual thanksgiving day. That is the time for real dinners and parties. This party is likely to be the day after thanksgiving.

My entire family died two thanksgivings ago in a tragic turkey-related disaster.
