A tale of a man loosing his mind over one little claim.

Many years ago there was a mighty Heathling by the name of Apollo StarChaser.
He was one of the few who managed to survive the journey into the new world.
He and his closest friends set off several hours after the new world had formed.

They spent countless nights walking for hours and hours without rest. They evaded boars and fierce bears and with the protection of their Chieftain Myro, they survived the journey... Mostly..

Shortly after forming a small encampment several of the villagers went out and never returned.
In the end there were 4 left.
The two strongest, most noble of the Heathlings decided to head off into the dark forest and join a confederation of the elite.
Apollo decided to stay behind and catch up with his old friends when he was strong enough to make the journey.
Sadly, the following night he was chased by a boar much stronger than he could handle. He fought a mighty battle with the beast but in the end his body gave in, he attempted to run but slipped and sunk, straight to the bottom of the nearby river. Never to be seen again.

And now, his descendent, Kingsford, has set off to find the death place of his great ancestor... But there is only one problem, the map he has of the area is greatly outdated.
Much of the landscape has changed over the years. While he can find the rough area he cannot find his way back to the exact point.

So now, he pleas to the gods to assist him in the location of his ancestors camp and claim, so he can be protected by the same magic that protected his great and mighty ancestor...

-------------------------------------

Okay so some of the above didn't happen quite like I said. Some of the others died as well, but the main point I was trying to bring across is that I can't find my old characters claim. I have spent the past 4 (or is it 5, I'm losing my mind over this) days looking for this god damn thing. Starting around 8pm and finally going to bed at 3am.
Is there anyway the devs could just, kill the damned thing for me? Or at least give me some way of locating it?
I don't feel comfortable with my current home being unclaimed since I screwed up the palisade and can't build a door until I can knock down the corner post... Oh and I could do with the LP boost it would give me too. :P
I just thought I should ask here even though I don't expect it to work. I just thought it would be an option to try and help save my sanity.

Anyway, Looking forward to a response, J&L, oh mighty ones.

EDIT: Haha. I forgot to changed the title from my joke one that I wrote while typing this.

It would generally be nice to have a way to find your old claim, maybe searching for it like with prospecting or ranging? It could cost one numen point to do one scan (if your character has high tradition, he is more likely to remember where his claim is, or remember some old stories from his ancestors, no?).

well really you should just be able to spawn at your ancestor's claim/hearthfire or something like that.

A new item like the dowsing rod: A "Find your claim" Rod. :P

Either that or "Claim-root". Mix it in a jar with water and go claim-finding. "Your claim was not found".

Or just make you able to teleport to it like the RoB or Charterstones.
