I started before the reset, saw someone kill
a fox and said "WOW!!!" That led to that
person taking me in under their wing and also
answering every retarded question i had.

When I first joined I was lucky enough to wander south (Last map) and just experimented with building. Back then Brodgar was largely unclaimed. Oh well.

Right now the biggest rage quit causing shit storm, is the fact that there's rivers everywhere around brodgar and most people don't have the sense to go to the other city. So there's claims everywhere a maze of no trees, and they have nothing with which to develop.

They can't just cross a river, and walking to get out of the center of the map takes forever AND by then the animals are vicious and beyond their skills.

Which is why it is so important to have bridges, but that's another post.

Agreed, You should be able to use trees and gather from them, but not chop them down near brodgar. But that could create issues with people planting them close together.

Guys! I saved around 70 newbies one day! Then I took the 53 that were still online and showed them a spot to build.
Oh yeah I've also saved what has to be 50 newbies joining through SA too.

That is a terrible idea.

A similar, but not terrible idea, would be to further develop village permissions, so brodgar could maintain its authority over the RoB area, but also allow anyone who wants to collect renewable resources from the trees.

While they were at it the devs could fix the "oh I dropped my shit and now it is yours" issues as well
