Pronounciation of Hearth (who has been saying it wrong?)

Postby ArvinJA » Sat Oct 25, 2014 8:08 pm

This is the correct way to pronounce it.
I've been pronouncing it like "earth" with a "h" in front all these years. :(

Yeah I mean sure, that's how languages evolve and all, but isn't it good form to try to conform to standards? :P

I'll still say it as Harth for as long as I live.

The YouTuber who I learned about this game from pronounced it "hurth," but I've always pronounced it "harth."
I didn't like my old signature, so here's a button. (::)

Ya, I've always pronounced it "hurth" as well despite there being no way for hear to make the necessary 'her' sound. I'm likely to just keep saying "hurth" to boot, as I'm a bad person.
It just sounds more correct to my ear that way.
