There are barely any politics left these days, a lot of major players and even whole factions are inactive and waiting for global update. As venator said, the following information can be incorrect due to number of reasons, but here is my version:
Only two major factions are active now, Dis (or whatever they are called now, they rebrand pretty often) and AD. Both factions have common roots and pretty same gamestyle. I wanted to say, that average IQ of AD members is a bit lower, but then I thought this is just an illusion created by brightest minds of Dis being inactive on forums.
If you're looking for joining one of them or creating an alliance, my advise is not to. Both factions can not be trusted, but they would fuck you over in different ways: AD leader has good intentions, but simply can't control his kids, besides he is pathological liar and you should know that ADs recruitment is deeply flawed, Dis as a faction has no good intentions, they are desperate to win the game in any way. If you're looking to do business with any of them, avoid getting into alliance with the whole faction and just keep it on personal level, there are nice and trustworthy people on both sides, you would be amazed what a dicks most of them are, when they are together and how face to face conversation can change that. War between factions is pretty primitive these days, they are just running around trying to get more kills and then shittalk for days (check out ICA). I guess there is not much left to say, because it seems HnH is not active enough for politics to be more deep and meaningful.
*post is written without taking your salem history and possible intentions into account
**if I would take all that into account, I'd tell you that Dis is more into tribal rhetorics, but iirc it's members dislike tribe

I feel there's an interesting story behind that.
Not really, he asked for refund, got it and accounts were banned to prevent cheating (having both money and profits from shop items). Though you might find the whole story behind wanting a refund in the first place interesting, but
it's not, if you ask me.
