Stolen Meatgrinder

Postby jorb » Fri Jun 12, 2009 2:34 am

Allright, someone stole a meatgrinder from the non-god dev-camp. Why someone bothered to cart it off, when it would probably have been easier to just make one yourself, is completely beyond me, but I am not going to question authority. My feeling of impotence over my inability to exact just retribution, forces me to start working on implementing a potent ability for the exacting of just retributions. :D

If anyone has word on the whereabouts of our Meatgrinder, I'd *love* to hear about it.

Well, if you've seen the thread just below this one, you'll see that we want retributive tools and measures too!

... still, your meatgrinder? XD

Wow, stealing from a dev camp. That takes... chutzpah.

I'm sorry jorb, that was me... I was told that you abandoned that camp and we were free to use what was there, I'll return it as soon as I get back online

No, I did abandon a camp, and that was free for the taking. We have, however, constructed a new camp on the edges of Mordor. I don't think you stole the one that has presently gone missing. :)

It seems that, also, a cart and three chests were taken in the heist. I applaud the thief's audacity! :D

I saw that. 100% thief proof is 100% boring, though. :)

A few of us are still puzzling over how to have a secure shared storage area. The best plan I've been able to come up with, and it's far from ideal, requires 149 campfires, takes 3 hours to burn through with no HHP loss, or 1 hour and a lot of HHP loss from trespassing, has 4 entrances for different people, and also requires a ton of drying racks, which would have to be perfectly positioned between tiles to form an effective barrier.

We tried that, but ended up using hearth fires and kilns.
