I just registered after finding this game and thinking that it looked awesome but as soon as my character reached the surface the game froze. Any help, ideas?

Edit: Okay that was just incredible slowdown. After 1/2 an hour it loaded and was too laggy to play. Anyone know how to fix this?

what kind of computer do you have? my brother lags, but its because his computer sucks. most java games use the CPU for everything so if your CPU sucks, your gonna lag.

The initial "1/2 hour" delay sounds weird, but when it comes to lag, please ensure that you have your video card manufacturer's drivers installed. That goes triple with nVidia cards on Windows 7 and Linux.

^^this

That means NOT through Windows Update, but the drivers directly from the video card manufacturer's website. Just for perfect clarity.

I have a G5 Power PC mac with 1.6 Ghz 512 MB of RAM and a GeForce FX 5200 graphics card. Are there any settings I can turn down or anything I can do to make it run faster?

I'm using 10.4.11 for my Os and 1.4.2 for my Java version.

yep, there's your problem right there. same as me. for some reason apple uses a special version of java. and for some reason, there is no update past 1.4.2 for OSX 10.4.11. not a huge deal for me because this computer is for work. but you might need to upgrade to 10.5 or something :(
